With broken hearts, we will love and miss Darren forever. He was born in Castlegar, BC, and has lived in many parts of Canada. He was survived by his mother and father, Shelagh and Tim Yanni, his brother Shawn Yanni (Valérie Legrand), his sister Heather Yanni and his entire extended family, including his grandparents, Patricia & Ralph Yanni of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, and Herb Salter & Wendy Austen of Kingston, ON, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Darren has been preceded in death by Maureen Salter’s grandmother from Kingston, ON, and Christopher’s uncles and Salt Stee Darcy Gianni. Maria, ON. Darren was so passionate about his interests, funny, adventurous, dedicated, hardworking, kind, so incredibly smart and would do anything to help anyone. He had so many achievements, made friends wherever he was and had many adventures in his short life. We are grateful for that, as well as to all those who loved him along the way. We will always keep in our hearts all the happy memories of Darren. There will be no public service, but we ask his friends to honor Darren by enjoying and living their lives to the fullest. Instead of flowers, please, if you wish, donate in Darren’s memory to a charity of your choice.
