Instead, the 76-year-old appeared in an act of contempt, completing his short promo by throwing his microphone out of the ring. “I’m glad it didn’t last long, so I didn’t have to stay with whatever bull’s meant,” a former wrestler told Fightful. “But he shows that he has no responsibility, especially when something is directly his fault.” The WWE Board of Directors is currently investigating McMahon and Talent Manager John Laurinaitis for misconduct related to the employment of a former outlaw. Joe Palazzolo and his Ted Mann Wall Street Journal published the news of a $ 3 million settlement that McMahon reached with the woman after the two allegedly had a relationship. According to the report, McMahon increased the woman’s salary from $ 100,000 to $ 200,000 when the relationship began. He later assigned her to Lavrinaitis’s office as his assistant.
