According to Mounties, police were called to an undisclosed address shortly before 5:30 a.m. Friday after a woman reported an intruder at her home. RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said the woman told investigators the intruder was wearing a black hoodie. “Officers attended and confirmed there was no home invasion,” he said, noting the woman had made a similar report to police 12 hours earlier. “The resident was arrested and held in cells until sober to prevent further offending.”
