Authorities are still searching for suspects who drove into a house on the 2500 block of Patron Drive and opened fire from a dark SUV around 10:15 p.m. Authorities believe about 20-30 rounds of ammunition were fired. Two men were killed – aged 45 and 46 – and five others were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds, police said. The injured victims ranged in age from 19 to 44 and included two women and three men. The victims were taken to the scene and taken to hospital. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said family members were holding a barbecue in front of the house. He said six children were at home but none were injured. The house is located near Insterstate 35 South and Palo Alto Road, right inside Loop 410. one D About 15 minutes after the Patron Drive shooting was reported, another shot was reported less than 2 miles from 9200 S. Zarzamora Street. It is not immediately clear if the two are connected, but the description of the vehicle matched, police said. In the Zarzamora shooting, a man in a dark SUV allegedly opened fire on three men parked in front of a Circle K. Police said about 30 shots were fired. According to police, the shots hit three vehicles, the convenience store and a car wash.
