Diana Shardlow says she and her husband were driving south on Glenmore just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday when they saw the truck start to catch fire. “She was coming and my husband says, ‘oh, this truck is smoking, it doesn’t look good.’ And then he literally pulled over and we saw flames.” Shardlow says they pulled over and she called 911. Shardlow says emergency crews, including the fire service, were on the scene within minutes and extinguished the lorry fire. “I’d say less than three or four minutes is all it took.”
