Jennifer Woodhouse, 18, of Alfreton, Derbyshire, and 19-year-old Lara Meldrum, of Arnold, Nottinghamshire, were involved in a crash at A158 in Hagworthingham near Spilsby on Friday, June 17. A day trip to the beach ended so tragically,” the statement said. Described as a “fun girl”, Lara played for Nottingham’s ice hockey club and worked at a McDonald’s restaurant. The family statement added: “The shy girl who went to interview her blossomed and her colleagues were soon fascinated by this contagious smile and fun. She worked hard to save money to pay for a vacation with her friends. nights out and for her she discovered a new love for clothes. “Every Crocs color you could buy and a hood to match them! “We will miss him jumping on our bed every night to chat before going to bed. We will miss devoting days to bring her washing and dishes down. “We will miss her stealing our phones and taking random pictures without us knowing it. We are all privileged to have her in our lives. They were absolutely hilarious jokes with a clever sense of humor that never failed.” Jennifer volunteered at the Barnardos charity before working in a cafeteria, pub and most recently on the Pizza Express. The statement added: “People are better off having it inside and they will miss it terribly. She was an incredible person who blessed all those who knew her kindness, her smart empathy, her charm, her humor and her full brilliance that made us all become better people “.
