Alice Birchall, 22, was driving in Manston Lane near Crossgates on Saturday, June 18, when she was seriously injured in a collision shortly before 8:43 p.m. Unfortunately he later died at the hospital. The death of her mom and dad at a young age meant that Alice matured quickly and became the guardian of Amy’s younger sister. He protected Amy with all his heart and cared for her so well. “Alice is loved more than an army of people. Alice’s life was finally making it, she had graduated from university with a degree in history and had just secured her dream job working in fine jewelry, which was to begin in two weeks. “Alice was the happiest she ever had with her whole future ahead of her. This incident left Amy devastated by the loss of her guardian, but especially her best friend. The 34-year-old Audi driver and the eight-year-old girl who was a passenger in the Audi are still being treated for serious injuries.
