Police are searching for a gunman riding a scooter who opened fire on a group of people in the Bronx, injuring one person.
Surveillance footage showed four men sitting near a crouch on Wales Ave. near E. 152nd St. at Woodstock in the Bronx, New York, around 7:00 p.m. Thursday when two men in a scooter passed by.
The man on the back of the scooter suddenly got up, pulled out a gun and started firing.
The group dispersed quickly, with two falling to the floor and a man rolling under the car.
A 28-year-old man, whose name was not released, was shot once in the left leg and rushed to Jacobi Hospital. He has been receiving medical treatment and has since been released, the Daily News reported.
A NYPD police spokesman told DailyMail.com “they are examining all the boulevards for why the shootings took place.”
“It is not clear at this time whether it was gang-related or targeted shootings,” a police spokesman said. “It’s under investigation.”
On Saturday, the police released the surveillance material and asked the public for help in locating the perpetrator. A reward of up to $ 3,500 is offered.

The shooter was wearing blue jeans, white sneakers and a white inflatable jacket. He had his hood over his head as he got up at the back of the camera and aimed his gun directly at the crowd.
The scooter driver was wearing jeans, black sneakers, a black helmet over a blue hooded jacket. Both suspects appeared to be wearing some kind of face mask.

One man sees the scene crawling under his stomach, while another is a scene hidden under a car before the scooter disappears, the news agency reported.
Officials said no arrests had been made.
