Jeffrey McNally, 57, from London, won the top prize of $ 11,205,427.10 in the May 14 draw. McNally, who works in engineering, said he went to check on his tickets right away at a store when he heard the prize had been sold in London. “I looked at the Big Winner screen and thought, ‘What does that mean?’ “It took me a few days to be able to sleep and eat normally again.” McNally has been a regular lottery player for 15 years and said his son was thrilled by the news of his big win. “As I watched him process the news, his expression said, ‘What does this mean for me?’ said McNally. McNally ‘s winning ticket was purchased at the Huron Mini Mart on Huron Street. He is already making plans for his unexpected $ 11 million. “I will start by buying a house for my parents and will celebrate it by taking a trip with my son,” McNally said in a statement. “I used to dream of living this life – living in a nice house and not having to work – now I can.” Lotto 6/49’s biggest jackpot was $ 63.4 million, winning a single ticket to Mississauga in October 2015. Lotto 6/49 players have won more than $ 13.7 billion in prizes since 1982. The lottery is $ 3 per game with draws on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
