The Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service (MFRS) was called to Bridge Road, Blundellsands, Crosby, yesterday (Saturday). An eyewitness claimed that people were making tiles on a roof without scaffolding when they got stuck. Crews were notified at 13.17 p.m. and on stage at 13.22 p.m. Two fire trucks were present as well as the search and rescue tool and an aerial. The crews used the aerial device to safely carry the two men to the ground without injury. MFRS left the spot at 14.39.
