The Gunners are chasing a striker after signing Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette on a free transfer for the past six months. Arsenal have signed talented striker Eddie Netia on a new contract. However, there is a need to bring in a more experienced frontman and Manchester City Jesus fits the bill. Alvaro Morata, Gianluca Scamacca and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have been linked with a change of Emirates. But it is a deal for Jesus that seems most likely to Mikel Arteta’s men. The 25-year-old Brazilian international is for us to grab this summer, after City signed a double striker. Pep Guardiola has added Dortmund productive striker Erling Haland and Argentina’s Julian Alvarez to his squad for next season. This leaves Jesus out in the cold and Arsenal want to take advantage of a 50 50m deal. The Daily Star reports that while Tottenham are also interested in the player, Jesus prefers a move to the red half of north London. The Star claims that Jesus feels that it will be difficult for him to play under Antonio Conte. This will not happen, however, if he joins the Gunners.
Jesus said he would take Arsenal to a new level
And O’Hara believes Arsenal will get a real steal if they can complete a deal. He told Sky Sports: “If Arsenal took him, I would be completely rewarded. Because this is a player who would take them 100% to a new level. “Their impact force has not been good enough lately and Jesus would be a huge sign for them. “Hopefully it will fall on deaf ears and it will not happen.” Everton striker Richardson was also on Tottenham’s radar. However, it seems unlikely that Daniel Levy will pay more than 40 40 million in a backup for Harry Kane. READ MORE: Everton speak to cautious Harry Winks amid interest from the Premier League trio
