At this point, it seems almost foolish to pay the full price for a PlayStation game. Fresh on the heels of a big sale for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Sony has launched another one. Not as good as it used to be last month, but it’s not bad, especially for those who keep away from some of the biggest games of the previous generation, such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Announced yesterday in a blog post, the PlayStation’s annual summer discount runs from today until Wednesday, July 6th. While the previous discount focused on first-person games — specifically some of the larger PS5 games — this month focuses on cross-gen games from third-party publishers. Here is an option:

The murder story of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sim with the Vikings theme is reduced by 60% to $ 24. (Valhalla is also included in the game library for Sony’s updated PS Plus.) The same price point and discount rate applies to Riders Republic, the massively multiplayer action sports game from Ubisoft. Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and all its DLC are currently available for $ 10. It will receive a next generation upgrade later this year. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which some fans say is the best action game in FromSoft’s work, is half $ 30. The Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the 4K renewal package of BioWare’s totem space RPG trilogy, also costs $ 24. At $ 32, the luxury version of Hitman 3, a version of the popular stealth puzzler that folds into a ton of content bonuses, is now officially available at a lower price than the base version. Bandai Namco Scarlet Nexus has half discount at $ 30. Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the third entry in the Square Enix relaunch of the long-running action series, costs $ 13. (It also has a demo.) In case you are not tired of LotR, the virtually endless open-world Middle-Earth: Shadow of War has been reduced to $ 7. The episodic narrative adventure Life is Strange 2 dropped from $ 32 to $ 12. (Individual funds are $ 4 per pop-up.) Anthem is $ 6, lol.

You can see the full list on the PlayStation Blog, though note that it does not state how much each game is discounted or what it is currently on. You need to go directly to the PlayStation Store to see it.
