It is clear that the last two episodes of this season of the hugely popular Netflix series will be full of adventure, intense horror and, of course, comedy. The pair of Vol. 2 episodes will have a total duration of almost four hours, noted Netflix. And, of course, the trailer is set for “Running Up That Hill”, Kate Bush’s 1985 song that recently topped the charts more than 30 years later thanks to its use in Vol. 1. The Vol. Trailer 2 was locked, which means it was not reported to the media before it was rejected so that everyone could watch it online on Tuesday morning. There is a lot to be learned from the preview, but producer-director Shawn Levy seemed to sum it up better in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “Having seen the last two episodes, they are both emotional and cinematic,” he said. “Holy shit, it’s definitely a treat for the eyes, but they’re hitting you right in the heart. “Well, that’s what I’ll say about that.” Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1 was overwhelmingly well received and currently owns 89 percent of Rotten Tomatoes. The release of the first seven episodes of the season also broke a viewing record for Netflix. According to the streamer’s internal measurement, Stranger Things garnered 286.79 million views worldwide from May 25 to 27. This is better than the previous record, the second season of Bridgerton, which had 193 million hours watched in the first weekend of March. Stranger Things 4 Vol. The 2 arrives for flow on the 1st of July. Watch the trailer, below.
