By Liam McConnell Posted November 9, 2022 at 5:40 pm Winter is coming… a little too soon. Mississauga’s first snowfall could be on the horizon with showers expected throughout the weekend. It’s supposed to start with rain on Friday. Environment Canada is predicting a 70 percent chance of showers. Rain is expected to fall several times during the day. Temperatures are expected to range from 15 degrees to as low as 8 in the evening. This low temperature will hold through Saturday and showers have a 30% chance of continuing through the day. As the sun sets, which is expected to be just before 5pm, the temperature is expected to drop to 1 degree. While the temperature drops that night, the chances of precipitation do not. Saturday night has a 30 percent chance of something falling from the sky, but whether it’s rain or snow is unknown. Things are expected to be a little warmer on Sunday, but not by much. The temperature is expected to rise up to 5 degrees during the day. However, they are set to drop further that night to -3. The chance of unrest on Sunday is also expected to increase by up to 40 percent. Again this chance of snow remains steady through the night. The snow will likely stop by Monday morning, but it will remain cold with temperatures between 2 and -3 degrees. insauga editorial standards and advertising policies
