This comes weeks after Sidhu’s father shared a video message on his son’s Instagram account following rumors that he was going to claim PELE. In the 55-second video, he told Punjabi: “I am the father of Sidhu Moose Wala. I wanted to tell you a few things. I am very sad about what I see on social media. There are various rumors circulating, do not believe it. I lost my son recently. “I have no intention of running in elections.” Sidhu was shot dead by unknown assailants in the village of Jawaharke in the Mansa district of Punjab on May 29. He continued, “Thank you for supporting me in these difficult times. I have a request for all of you. There is a prayer meeting on June 8, come and I will meet and answer your questions then. At the moment, I’m not in a position to talk much. ” The video was shared with an emoji that folds the arms. Sidhu was shot by unknown assailants in the village of Jawaharke in the Mansa district of Punjab on May 29. The incident came a day after Punjab police withdrew his security amid 424 others. Recently, actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh remembered Sidhu “brothers”, Punjabi actor-activist Deep Sidhu and Kabaddi Sandeep actor Singh Sandhu during his concert in Vancouver. He played at Rogers Arena and shared a video on Instagram with the caption, “One Love”. The clip included Diljit singing and delivering a speech in Punjab as the digital screen behind it read, “This show is dedicated to our brothers,” with photos of Sidhu, Deep and Sandeep.
