Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Sherburn Street in Hull at around 5.30pm. on Tuesday 14 June, following reports of concern for the safety of a man. Daniel ‘Mark’ Thomas, 53, was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries, but sadly died. Kieran Scott, 19, of Homethorpe, Hull, has been charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear in Hull Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 20 June. “Officers were called to attend an incident on Sherburn Street, Hull, around 5:30 pm on Tuesday, June 14th, after reports of concern for a man’s safety. 53 -year -old Daniel Thomas, known by his nearby persons as “Mark”, was transported to the hospital for treatment, but unfortunately died from his injuries.
