A viral video captures the moment when a neighbor decided to ruin a wedding by mowing her lawn as the bride walked down the aisle. The video, posted on TikTok by vampyyric on June 11, shows a beautiful bride walking down a grassy walkway with her father as a buzzing sound was heard. He then cuts the bride and groom holding hands under a canopy overlooking the water in New Brunswick, Canada. As the preacher says, “You are a tender and faithful husband, in abundance -” the noise was heard once more. Vampyyric then uploaded the video across the street, where a woman in a dark hat, light-colored shirt and dark pants mowed her lawn noisily – with an apparent weed cutter, although there appears to be a lawn mower behind her. The woman even looked at the videographer at some point before the video ended. Vampyyric wrote in the video: “The second time the bride’s song was heard and she walked down the aisle, this Karen decided to MOW her grass and shout at us to ruin the wedding. “It went on throughout the wedding and we could not hear the vows etc.” Vampyyric also wrote in the caption: “Yes, we went to her, no she was not polite. “Some people are just rude like that. “It’s really unfortunate.” Since then, the video has gone viral with more than 328,200 views and more than 1,500 comments – many of which have been met with retaliation. A TikToker with the username Calimac00, for example, said that “they would upload the music later that night. “She probably hates herself and [her] wrote TikToker, in which another apparently called the woman Mrs. Hoversham – a character from the Great Expectations of Charles Dickens who was left on the altar and now insists on wearing her wedding dress for the rest of her life.
