Senate Majority Leader Chuck Sumer said Tuesday night he would move quickly to pass the bill “with an initial procedural vote just tonight.” He added, “after that, we will move on to the final passage as soon as possible.”
The Senate is now expected to vote Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET on a procedural proposal to start the debate on legislation.
