Both teams return from their Week 9 bye, but only one gets its offensive skill set at full strength. The 49ers will have Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey together full-time for the first time since McCaffrey was a day job in his first game with the team and Samuel sat out Week 8 with an injury. Meanwhile, the Chargers will still be without Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, leaving Justin Herbert with Josh Palmer, Gerald Everett and DeAndre Carter as his top outside options. The 49ers (like the Chargers) still have some injury issues on defense, however, with Arik Armstead out for this game and Jason Verrett once again on injured reserve. Which of these teams will start the second half of the season well? We’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, keep it locked to our live blog throughout the evening as we update you with stats, scores and highlights.
