Red River North RCMP officers responded to the crash on Highway 8 near RM West St. Paul around 12:50 p.m. According to police, one of the cars stopped heading south on Highway 8, partly on dirt road, when it was behind. The driver and the only person in the stopped car, a 70-year-old woman from Winnipeg, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and the only one in the other car, a 21-year-old from the West. St. Paul was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are continuing their investigations. Anyone with dash cam information or video is kindly requested to call 204-667-6519.
