Photo: Jon Manchester UPDATE: 3:38 p.m Police confirm Okanagan Lake investigators are investigating in Okanagan Lake in connection with a missing person. “Officers are using specialized equipment to search a section of the lake near the 8100 block of Tronson Road,” says Vernon RCMP spokesperson Const. Chris Terlesky. The search matches the area where missing Kelowna man Dillon Angle’s vehicle was located on October 19. “We feel that given the proximity to where the vehicle was found in the water, this is a necessary step in order to ensure that a full and complete investigation is undertaken,” says Terleski. Vernon Search and Rescue volunteers comb the area of the Tronson boat launch. “We are in contact with the family, who are aware of the investigation and the steps being taken as we continue our efforts to locate Mr. Angle,” Terleski said. Angle, 32, was reported missing after his abandoned vehicle was discovered. ORIGINAL: 2:15 p.m A search is underway at Okanagan Lake in Vernon.
