The crash, which involved an SUV and a motor vehicle, occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m. at Highway 24 and Concession 7 Townsend, Norfolk OPP said. 90-year-old Karl Tabe, the driver of the motor vehicle, died at the scene. Kathleen Tabe, 80, a passenger in the vehicle, died at a Hamilton hospital. Two adults and a child in the SUV were seriously injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
