The owner of a car was allegedly hit by his own vehicle after being stolen by a thief when he was allowed to run outside a business on Regent Street in the South End on Friday afternoon. “The suspect had stolen the vehicle, (the owner) tried to stop it and was hit by the motor vehicle,” said the Greater Sudbury Police Service. said Doug Ward. At around 5:36 pm on Friday, the owner of the vehicle was not injured in the accident and was taken to hospital. The vehicle is a gray Honda Accord with Ontario license plate CEVE349.
