Police responded to a shooting near Scarlett Road and Scarlettwoods Court around 10:40 p.m. on June 17, after shots were heard in the area.
Police found a man with gunshot wounds and tried to resuscitate him, but were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified the victim Monday as 27-year-old Bryan Bernard from Toronto.
Another man was shot and taken to a nearby hospital. He was treated for injuries that were not life threatening.
Police said Monday that they continue to urge witnesses or anyone who had video from the area at the time of the shooting to contact investigators.
