Investigators allege the staff member, a 32-year-old Toronto man, sexually assaulted a vulnerable elderly woman in early November, according to a news release. The victim did not suffer any physical injuries as a result of the incident, according to police. He was arrested Friday and charged with sexual assault, investigators say. He appeared Saturday in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton to answer to the charge, the statement said. Police say the employee worked as a part-time patient care assistant at a Trillium Health Partners location in Mississauga. Investigators believe there may be other victims.
