London Fire and Police responded to a house fire just before 1pm between Deveron Crescent and Pond Mills Road. Police said a puppy was trapped inside the home during the fire, unfortunately they were unable to revive it. The cause of the fire is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing, police said. The fire caused about $150,000 in damage.

The couple was last seen on their boat on the Itaquai River – near the entrance to the Javari Indigenous Territory, which borders Peru and Colombia – on June 5, disappearing shortly afterwards.
