Friends and family are hoping to raise $ 50,000 to cover the funeral and daily expenses of Troy Evans, who lost his wife, newborn son and mother-in-law in an accident Thursday morning north of Riley. Evans’s two-year-old son, Anthony, was taken to hospital in critical condition. This according to a Facebook fundraiser posted by Samantha Price, who said Evans was driving a moving truck behind his family and witnessed the wreck. “We know the coming weeks will be extremely challenging for Troy and the other family members left behind,” Price wrote on the fundraiser. “As friends of the family, we pray fervently for the recovery of little Adonai and for peace and strength for Troy. “We also want to do what we can to alleviate the financial burden of the memorial and Troy’s living expenses as he recovers.” The investigation into the conflict is ongoing. As of Sunday night, the online fundraiser had raised more than $ 2,200.
