Corey Barron, 22, disappeared during a concert in July 2014 with country musicians including Jason Aldean. A dump worker found his body four days later. Investigators at the time determined he fell down the five-story dugout along the left-field foul line, adding that there were no signs of foul play. Cory Barron’s body turned up in a landfill days after a country music concert.WKYC The Lorain County Medical Examiner’s Office announced Monday that it has changed Barron’s manner of death from undetermined to a homicide. County Coroner Frank Miller cited new information from police indicating Barron was involved in an “altercation” before his death, meaning it was due to someone else’s actions — or failure to act. A Cleveland police spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday that the death remains under investigation, but did not release further details about the new information cited by the coroner’s office. Barron suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries, authorities said. Alcohol was found in tissue samples taken from Barron, the medical examiner’s office said, but his blood alcohol level could not be accurately measured because of the condition of his body. No drugs were found in the tissue samples.
