Mandy Sissoko gave the Spartans a big boost with 10 points and seven rebounds. After averaging just 4.5 minutes per game last season, the young big man was thrust into a starting role and thrived in the first half with Gonzaga star Drew Timme and backup center Efton Reid both struggling.
