• Both cars had a clean start in the race and settled in the qualifying places, Daniel P9 and Lando P14. Daniel started with Medium tires, while Lando chose the Hards • Daniel fell back into the P10 after passing Zhou, but a problem with the Magnussen front wing allowed him to reclaim the P9. Lando also took advantage of the cars that chose to change tires early and reached P13 • A virtual safety car was called seven laps in the race when Perez had a problem • Another virtual safety car was called when Schumacher went off track in lap 18. the drivers pitched, Daniel returned to the P12 track, but a slower stop for Lando got him off the pit lane at P18 • Daniel then took advantage of the Leclerc charging through the pitch as he passed Tsunoda for P11 • The safety car developed in lap 50 when Tsunoda left the track allowing Daniel to enter the pit for a new set of hard tires • Daniel passed Vettel for the P10 but was caught by Stroll as he finished just outside the points . We just did not have the pace and then we had to manage a few other things.
