Police issued an alert for the man just after 9am A tweet said no weapons were used and the victims, who were apparently attacked at random, suffered only minor injuries. A large number of police officers were deployed throughout the downtown core to find the suspect. Police warned anyone who saw the man not to approach him and warned them to call 911. Officers arrested a suspect around 12:30 p.m Police say more details about the charges will be released once the man appears in magistrates’ court.
