The incident happened in the area of Goldstream Avenue and Kristina Place around 7:15 in the morning of June 19. According to the West Shore RCMP, the only occupant of the vehicle, a 59-year-old, was killed, despite efforts by the BCEHS and the Langford Fire Department to rescue him. Mounties say that based on initial observations at the scene, it appears that the 59-year-old man collided with a parked commercial or industrial vehicle. “This tragic incident is still under investigation by the BC Medical Examiner’s Office and the RCMP Conflict Analyst,” Const.
