Everton Road and Heyworth Street in Everton were sealed off by police shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 22.  The closure lasted for more than eight hours between Cresswell Street and Lloyd Close. 
Traffic monitoring website Inrix reported: “A580 Heyworth Street and Everton Street were closed in both directions due to a police incident between Cresswell Street and Lloyd Close.  The traffic is going well “.
