Firefighters, police and paramedics were called at around 4.30pm. on Tuesday in Whitchurch and Llandaff North, with reports on social media of a strong emergency service presence on Ty-Mawr Road and Heol Don. A National Air Force Police helicopter from Agios Athan is exploring the river in the area. A witness said the river trail was closed in Llandaff North. “Large police presence in Llandaff North & Whitchurch this afternoon,” Jennifer Burke-Davis, a member of the Cardiff Council on Culture, Parks and Events, wrote on Twitter at 6:11 p.m. He added that he expects more details.
