The CPS said they relate to a series of sexual assaults against a man between 2001 and 2004. There is also the charge of inducing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. The charges come as a result of evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police, the head of the CPS’s special crime unit said. Spacey, 63, has already pleaded not guilty to charges in the UK spanning 17 years. They include four counts of sexual assault and one count of causing non-consensual penetrative sexual activity relating to alleged incidents in London and Gloucestershire involving three men aged in their 30s and 40s. Spacey is known for starring roles in American Beauty and The Usual Suspects, for which he won Oscars, and the hit American political thriller series House Of Cards.
