The The friends The actress, 53, admitted she even tried IVF to get pregnant a few years ago in a new cover story with Allure.  “In my late 30s, 40s, I had gone through some really tough stuff, and if I hadn’t gone through that, I would never have become who I was supposed to be,” she said, before clarifying that it was “trying to get pregnant.”

  “It’s been a tough road for me, the road of making babies,” Jennifer continued.  “All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard.  I was undergoing IVF, drinking Chinese teas.  I was throwing everything at him.  I would give anything if someone said to me “Freeze your eggs.  Do yourself a favor.”  You just don’t think about it.  So here I am today.  The ship has sailed.”

  Although she didn’t end up having children, Jennifer said she has no regrets.

  “I’m actually a little bit relieved now because there’s no more, ‘Can I?  It can.  It can.  It can.’  I don’t have to think about it anymore,” he said.

  She then mentioned the stress that came from being “told that I was just being selfish” for not having children.  “I just cared about my career.  And may God make a woman successful and childless.  And the reason my husband left me, because we divorced and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a child.  They were complete lies.  I have nothing to hide right now.”

  Jennifer previously was “so frustrated” with the media’s obsession with getting pregnant that she wrote an op-ed about it for the Huff Post, where she called out the “sports scrutiny and body shaming that happens every day under her guise.” journalism’, the ‘First Amendment’ and ‘celebrity news’.
