“Our research has shown that the three people with active tuberculosis are closely linked to the person who sadly died in October 2021. Tuberculosis is difficult to transmit. Close and prolonged contact with an infectious person is required to infect a person. “Work is underway to identify the close contacts of the three cases of active tuberculosis, who will be invited for tuberculosis testing by the Hywel Dda University Health Council.
