England’s top Wags will want nothing for the incredible £1billion MSC World Europa, where a glittering fleet will stay to cheer on our Three Lions during the Qatar World Cup. 10 The £1 billion, 1,093-foot MSC World Europa floating hotel — named HMS WagCredit: Getty 10 Eric Dier’s fiancee Anna Modler 10 Jack Grealish’s girlfriend Sasha AttwoodCredit: Instagram @sasha__rebecca I went aboard for an exclusive look and to see the dazzling array of facilities which include seven swimming pools, luxury watch shops, an exclusive range of £6,000 ‘royal’ suites — and an 11-storey water slide. England wives and girlfriends believed to be spending the tournament on the 22-deck ship include models Sasha Attwood, 26, girlfriend of Manchester City ace Jack Grealish, and Anna Modler, 24, engaged to Spurs man Eric Dier, as well as Harry Maguire’s wife. Fern, 27. Captain Harry Kane’s wife Katie, 29, is also understood to be staying on MSC’s largest ship, where alcohol will flow despite Qatar’s strict rules ashore. The 1,093ft floating hotel – named HMS Wag – was christened in a glittering ceremony in Qatar at the weekend as it prepared to welcome its VIP guests to the capital Doha. As I was ushered into the ship’s exclusive Yacht Club, it’s clear that Wags won’t have to worry about privacy. This intimate zone at the top of the ship features its own exclusive restaurant and lounge bar — connected by a stunning staircase stacked with more than 8,000 octagon and cut Swarovski crystals. By day, our Wags will be able to relax on two huge private decks with a large swimming pool and two hot tubs, surrounded by plush sunbeds and beach club-style cabanas. There is a bar and grill for cocktails and casual dining. MSC Yacht Club Director Cristian Comirla said: “Every Yacht Club guest’s needs are attended to 24 hours a day by our elite team of highly trained butlers. They will greet everyone by name and provide a completely personalized service.” All-inclusive suites at the Yacht Club will raise Wags up to £6,000 each, with the grandest Owners and Royal Suites the ones you desire. They feature a spa bath, walk-in wardrobes and Italian designer king-size beds. Duplex suites feature double-height ceilings and two floors of luxury with Nespresso machines and complimentary minibars stocked with premium spirits and mixers. Christian added: “Each day the chef will prepare special treats to deliver to each suite, from delicious sweets to savory specialties depending on where the ship is docked.” But it would be remiss of Wags not to explore the rest of this vast pleasure palace. There are 13 restaurants plus 20 bars and lounges waiting to be enjoyed by the 6,762 passengers spread over 22 decks of unrivaled luxury. Qatar’s strict liquor laws include a zero tolerance policy for drinking or appearing drunk in public. But with the ship docked offshore, guests will be free to make the most of its extensive drinks menu. Wags will feel right at home in the Fizz Champagne Bar, where the most expensive bottle of bubbly – Armand de Brignac – will set you back £400. I settled for a slightly more earthy but equally delicious glass of pink champagne which cost just £13. And all Brits will feel right at home in the Masters of the Sea pub, where a microbrewery will serve Oceanic ales created with seawater. 10 The Sun’s Lisa Minot samples the good life on MSC World EuropaCredit: MSC Cruises 10 Lisa gives birth to the ship’s snow roomCredit: MSC Cruises All matches will be streamed live here throughout the tournament, which begins on November 20. The pub is connected by a spiral staircase to the Gin Project, with expert bartenders serving up classic cocktail-tails from over 70 handcrafted gins. Cooling off in the fierce Qatar sun will be a breeze in one of seven pools – including a Zen infinity pool – while 13 hot tubs will ease the stress of England’s World Cup journey. Badass looking to indulge in a little retail therapy are in luck. Shops and restaurants line the World Galleria, where thousands of LED lights on the domed ceiling create stunning cinematic displays, transitioning from shifting desert sands to whales swimming in deep oceans. At the heart of the ship are bars, lounges, restaurants and shops, including Fine Jewellery, where I tried on the most expensive diamond – a £22,000 1.02 carat yellow diamond ring. Unlike the Wags, though, I had to give it back. The Galleria leads to the amazing outdoor Prom-enade with even more shops, bars and restaurants. Wags looking to reward their men for a job well done could find a solid gold Hublot watch worth £53,000 at one of the two watch shops. The Promenade is THE place to be at sunset, where you can sip a cocktail or two while looking out over the Doha skyline and admire the view of the 974 World Cup Stadium, named after the exact number of shipping containers that were used to create the unique space. I joined the adrenaline junkies to tackle the ‘Venom Drop’ – the largest dry slide at sea which opens 11 decks onto the promenade and pops up next to the Malt Bar where we enjoyed a refreshing whisky. To calm my nerves, it was a much more Wag-tastic activity next – the serene Balinese-style Aurea Spa. Wearing a huge fluffy bathrobe, I soothe away aches and pains with a trip to the spa area, diving into the pools and checking out the steam rooms, saunas overlooking the sea and even the sub-zero room with snow floors and walls with frozen ice. 10 Lisa relaxing in the spa on HMS WagCredit: MSC Cruises 10 Wags will feel right at home at Fizz Champagne BarCredit: SUPPLIED Ladies can pamper themselves with £150 massages, facials and body treatments or indulge in a manicure, blow dry and even eyelash extensions. That’s not the only thing on board to keep Wags entertained – at night there are West End-style shows and Ibiza-style rave nightclubs, as well as DJ parties on the poolside deck. But the most exclusive space on board is an intimate, invite-only speakeasy, hidden in plain sight and reserved only for the most VIP guests. I have special access to this top secret joint and can guarantee it will give the girls a chance to let their hair down and relax away from prying eyes. More than 14,000 England and Wales fans have also booked rooms on the luxury liner. But England’s football stars may unfortunately not be able to join their other halves on board. Last week, Qatar reported 307 new Covid cases and Gareth Southgate could be forced to keep his team in a strict bubble. The Three Lions boss and his squad will be staying at the Souq Al Wakra Hotel near Doha ahead of their first game against Iran on November 21. Other partners are expected to stay in five-star hotels in Dubai and travel for matches. Whether football returns home remains to be seen, but after a few weeks at HMS Wag its lucky visitors certainly won’t want to. 10 Wags will be able to relax on two large private sunbeds with a large pool and two hot tubs, surrounded by plush sunbeds and beach club-style cabanasCredit: PROVIDED 10 Adrenaline junkies can tackle the ‘Venom Drop’ – the largest dry slide at sea that spans 11 decksCredit: SUPPLIED 10 The stunning staircase is stacked with more than 8,000 octagonal and pear-shaped Swarovski crystals Credit: PROVIDED
