Asked by Morgan if the club was trying to force him, Ronaldo replied: “Yes, not just the manager but the other two or three guys – they are around the club.” Asked again if senior club officials were trying to push him out, he said: “I don’t care. People need to hear the truth. “Yes, I felt betrayed and I felt that some people don’t want me here, not only this year, but also last year.” Ronaldo said of United manager Ten Haag: “I don’t respect him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you have no respect for me, I will never have respect for you. “I don’t know what’s going on, but since Sir Alex Ferguson left I haven’t seen any development at the club, zero progress. “For example, we have an interesting point that, how the club as Manchester United after [they] sack ole [Gunnar Solskjaer], they buy – bring in, sporting director Ralf Rangnick, something that no one understands. This guy isn’t even a coach. “A bigger club like Manchester United brings [a] sports director – surprised not only me but the whole world, you know. “Nothing has changed. Surprisingly. Morgan revealed to talkSPORT that his explosive interview with Ronaldo was the United star’s idea. “Well, Cristiano asked me to do it – as simple as that,” said the TalkTV host. “I didn’t ask him, he asked me. “It was all very recent. He’s been thinking about it for a while.
