Jumbo Floating Restaurant, one of the largest in the world, left Hong Kong’s Aberdeen Harbour last week after it closed down because of the pandemic. The 76m (250ft) vessel, which could seat more than 2,000 diners, was on its way to an undisclosed destination in the region but struggled in “adverse conditions” on Saturday afternoon near the Paracel Islands, south of China.
