Merseyside police rushed to Hawthorne Road in Kirkdale around 4:25 p.m. on Monday, June 20, following reports of a car accident. As soon as the police arrived at the spot, they found that a Ford Puma and a motorbike had crashed on the road. The North West Ambulance Service was called to the scene by Merseyside police as the 50-year-old motorcyclist was injured in the leg. Police closed the road while emergency services are dealing with the incident. A Merseyside police spokesman said: “We were called at 4.25pm today to report a collision between a Ford Puma and a motorcycle on Hawthorne Road.
