The Blues have been working hard on their waterfront for almost a year now, with exciting updates being reported regularly as the area has already undergone a major transformation. Huge sections of the superstructure are already made of concrete, while steelworks are now being installed at the construction site. Much of the work so far has been done behind the large pier walls, which means supporters could not see the progress on their own other than watching one of Bramley-Moore’s regular videos – either provided by their club themselves or fans with access to drones. And, they can also learn a lot about the project. Twitter user UpperGwladysBlue shared a video on the platform on Saturday of a Ferry Mersey on one of his river tours. Amidst the sound of a strong wind in the clip, the tour guide can be heard describing the new construction of Everton Stadium and some of the Bramley-Moore Doc story. The driver observes: “[The site] It will be the new home of the Everton football team in the future. The new stadium, with an estimated cost of εκατο 500 million, is set to open at the start of the 2024/25 Premier League season. “Bramley-Moore Dock opened in 1848 and was designed by Jesse Hartley. The dock was in use for 140 years and finally closed in 1988.” The video shows a unique view of the huge tower cranes currently at the construction site to help advance the next stage of construction. The concrete corners of the field are clearly visible. As the construction progresses, it is certain that there will be many more interesting views that could be realized from the work that Everton is doing right in the middle of the Mersey River.
