TARGET! England 1-1 Norway (Maanum 79′)

Norway is on par with Frida Maanum and unfortunately, it’s a nightmare time for Ellie Roebuck. The keeper came out to clear under pressure but didn’t make contact, allowing Maanum to roll the ball into an empty net. 78 mins: Alessia Russo brings down a long ball with a fine touch and out to Kelly, whose follow-up shot curls wide of the far post! 77 min: Norway’s 10 women go forward and Ryten’s volley is well saved by Morgan. England secedes… 74 min: Manchester United’s Vilde Bøe Risa is also on for Norway, replacing Eikeland. 72 min: From the free-kick, Kelly goes close with a half-volley as England try to get the job done. Maria Thorisdottir comes on for Norway, replacing Thea Bjelde in defence.

Red card! Sønstevold was sent off for Norway

Parris clears Anja Sønstevold again and for the second time in five minutes, the defender takes her down. It’s a second yellow card and it’s hard to argue – even if it’s friendly. Updated at 20:31 GMT 70 mins: Niamh Charles was able to get much further in front in the second half and produced a dangerous cross. Parise connects with a header which is well saved by Mikkelsen to stop England doubling their lead. 68 mins: Maya Le Tissier and Esme Morgan, aged 20 and 22 respectively, are England’s new centre-back pairing. It will be a big boost to their confidence if they can keep Norway out. The English Maya Le Tissier. This will be the first booking of the match and a chance to get the ball into the area. Katie Zelem’s foul is not well cooked and after some head tennis, Norway clears. 65mins: Rachel Daly, who probably fancied too much on the goal of Toune’s cross, is at right-back now and fouls Blackstad in midfield. 63 min: Charles’ cross is cleared to Toone, who finds space and lifts a cross towards the far post – but nobody is there to connect. 62 mins: More changes for England, with Alessia Russo coming on for Alex Greenwood. That could mean Daly, who has impressed up front, moves to right-back with Le Tissier joining Morgan in central defence. There are plenty of other friendlies taking place tonight, with Northern Ireland currently holding Italy in Belfast. Brazil beat Canada 2-1, Spain leads Japan 1-0 and the Netherlands are up two against Denmark. 59 mins: England have close to 70% possession but only two shots out. They enjoy a long spell on the ball here, without creating an opening. For Norway, Arsenal’s Frida Maanum comes on for Naalsund. 56 mins: Charles gets forward down the left and squeezes into space, her low cross deflected in at the near post. Photo: Jose Breton/AP Updated at 20:18 GMT 55 mins: And now a dangerous foul for Norway after Blackstad is brought down by the retreating Kelly. Ryten curls towards the far corner but Roebuck has a great time to turn it back! Updated at 20:16 GMT 54 min: Nervous moment at the back for England as Zelem’s back pass lets Roman Haug through on goal. Roebuck is smartly off her line to block, with Greenwood clearing the rebound before the striker can pounce. 53 min: Le Tissier’s cross to Daly is cleared – Norway still playing with five backs out of possession – but he clears it and Kelly turns her defender, before going close with a shot from a tight angle. 51 min: Norway are able to go deep into England territory again, but Eikeland fouls her cross, much to their dismay. 49 mins: Morgan, in central defence, tries to find Zelem in midfield but her pass is intercepted. England win it back and Kelly, back on the left, fires a deep cross to Daly, who is a lesser number in the middle. 47 min: The first chance of the second half falls to Norway, Amalie Eikeland curling a difficult shot wide of Roebuck’s post.

Second half

Here we go again. Manchester City’s Julie Blackstad is on for Norway, replacing the impressive Emilie Haavi. Three changes at half-time for England: Bright, Walsh and James are out, replaced by Georgia Stanway (who takes the armband from Bright), Esme Morgan and Katie Zelem. Reading at half time

Half time: England 1-0 Norway

The Lionesses weren’t at their best, with Norway causing plenty of problems on the break – but Rachel Daly’s header led at the break. Back soon. 44′: Chloe Kelly’s cross was cleared for a corner by Engen. The delivery drifts over everyone, Bright tries to turn it back into the danger area and a foul from Paris ends the first half. 42 mins: We’re heading into half-time here, with Norway’s defensive play somewhat undermined by conceding a goal. 40 mins: Ella Toone, playing in a deeper role than usual, tries to pick out Parris and jumps to the spot in frustration as her pass is intercepted. Updated at 19:42 GMT “Is anyone else surprised to see a Salmon on the England bench but not on the Norway bench?” asks Peter Oh. 37 mins: The change of Kelly and Paris works wonders, with the latter turning past her marker and passing for Daly, who nods wide under pressure. 36 mins: Wiegman will be feeling better after a difficult first half, and Daly almost made it two, her deflected shot just wide with Mikalsen looking uncertain. Norway looked more likely but they are undone here by a terrific ball into the box from Chloe Kelly. Daly catches it, passes her marker and sends a nice header past Mikalsen! Updated at 19:40 GMT
