Elvis as a biographical film tells the story of the King’s brief 42 years, with much of the focus around his rise in 1956, the 1968 Comeback Special and the early 1970s in Las Vegas. However, the action only reaches the end of 1974, shortly before his 40th birthday in January, as the star is depicted worrying about being remembered – a scene that appears in the movie trailer. However, while the film ends with his death in 1977, neither his girlfriend from 1972-1976, Linda Thompson, nor Ginger Alden’s last lover – who found him dead on his bathroom floor – are even mentioned in the film. There is a short actual archive of Linda and Elvis in a car leading to the gates of Graceland, but so far. In recent days, both women have reported their frustrations in social media posts. A fan commented on Ginger’s post: “Thank you for sharing it! I hope you write another book about it. I think you are very brave to always talk about him. He would be proud of you for making him proud. “You were erased from Graceland appearances, but the real fans know that you were his future.” In which, he confirmed answering: “Thank you”. Elvis is coming out in theaters on June 24, 2022.
