An application for both a name change and a new birth certificate reflecting her new gender identity has been filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica. Former Xavier Alexander Musk, who recently turned 18 in California at the age of consent, has asked the court to change her gender from male to female and register her new name, according to court documents available online via of PlainSite.org. Her new name was mentioned in the online document. Her mother is Justin Wilson, who divorced Musk in 2008. There was no further explanation for the rift between Musk’s daughter and her father, the head of Tesla and SpaceX, which is trying to buy the Twitter social networking platform for $ 44 billion (35 35.8 billion).
