Following the Warriors’ victory over the Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Klay Thompson called on Grizzlies striker Jaren Jackson Jr. for his “numbers” tweet he posted during the Western Conference semifinal series against of the Golden State. A little later, the Grizzlies superstar, Ja Morant, responded to Klay’s comments with a tweet claiming that Memphis lives in the heads of the Warriors and specifically of Thompson, without rent. Draymond had a rather epic answer on Saturday night. Morand then answered shortly afterwards. But it was not over yet. First the couple went back and forth challenging each other to a match on Christmas day at their respective stadiums. Green then posted a GIF of Morant from Game 5 of the semifinals. Injured on the bench, Morant appeared to be mimicking Steph Curry’s typical four-point celebration, and Green took the opportunity to make a report on the Disney Channel using the moment on Saturday night. It all started with a comment on real estate, and one thing is for sure: The Warriors traded their real estate in Memphis for a beautiful Victorian mansion in Boston.
