Mary Trump is seeking relief from an appeals court after a judge dismissed her claims that her uncle Donald Trump and two of his brothers defrauded her out of millions of dollars in a 2001 family settlement. The lawsuit was dismissed Monday by Manhattan State District Court Judge Robert Reed. He said lawyers for former US President Trump, his sister Marian Trump Barry and the estate of his deceased brother Robert S. Trump showed that Mary Trump signed releases exempting her relatives from future claims. Mary Trump’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, appealed the decision Wednesday to the New York Supreme Court of Appeals.
