The official Disney + list for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness confirms the film’s place on the Marvel Cinematic Universe schedule. After the movie was added to the streaming service, fans quickly discovered that Doctor Strange’s latest adventure takes place between the Eternals and Hawkeye, set in the fall of 2024 and December of 2024, respectively. Multiverse of Madness also takes place after Spider-Man: No Way Home, which seems to be completed around the same time as Hawkeye. The second film of Master of the Mystic Art that takes place after No Way Home will not surprise MCU fans given how the stories are largely fed to each other. After Doctor Strange breaks the boundaries between reality in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he is forced to face the consequences of his actions after almost causing an invasion. Multiverse of Madness sees the title of magician, again played by Benedict Cumberbatch, answer for his reckless behavior, an issue that becomes more complicated as he is haunted by a corrupt Wanda Maximoff, also known as The Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen ). Doctor Strange premiered at the Multiverse of Madness with very positive reviews from fans and critics, many of whom praised director Sam Raimi for his elegant presentation of the film. Despite these praises, many audiences were left to ask for a story that felt unequal in the rhythm and performance of her characters, with fans criticizing Wanda Maximoff’s decline in madness as an injustice to the character. Despite complaints about the Scarlet Witch bow, Olsen said she was pleased with how Multiverse of Madness portrayed her character. “I am [satisfied]”I think it kind of had to end where it ends at some point, and I’m curious to go from there.” Regardless of the actor’s thoughts on Wanda’s fate, it remains unknown when fans will see him next. Scarlet Witch appears on the big screen. As for Cumberbatch, the acclaimed actor has previously expressed his love for the role of Doctor Strange, noting that he is open to repeating the role for at least a decade. “Absolutely. “Absolutely,” Cumberbatch was excited. “If they keep me, and that, interest and keep him evolving and try to reach his full potential as a character, I think there are a lot of places for him to explore. So yes, keep going.” Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness is now airing on Disney +. The movie comes in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD on July 26th. Source: Reddit
