Dead Man Hit By Toronto Bus Police

Emergency crews were called to Markham Street on Blakemanor Boulevard, between Lawrence and Eglinton Avenues at about 1 a.m. to report that a pedestrian had been hit.
Toronto Police Traffic Police say the man entered a lively lane heading north outside a crosswalk and was hit by a TTC bus.
His death was confirmed at the scene.
Investigators say the bus driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Clash officers blocked Markham Street in both directions for several hours.
