Emergency crews were called to the Scarlett Road and Scarlettwood Court area south of Lawrence West Avenue at about 10:40 p.m. Friday for reports that someone had been shot. When they arrived, police located a man with gunshot wounds. Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds, police said. He has serious injuries. The homicide department is investigating. There is no suspicious information at this time.
